[not dead]

LOL I'm so sorry I kind of left for a few months there....this first semester of high school was rough. (3 cheers for all-nighters!!!!) But now that I'm on break and the year is almost over I decided to check in.
I stole this from my Instagram

So yeah, life's good but it's definitely busy. 2015 was a wild ride- lots of laughter, tears, stress, and other various ups-and-downs. But God is good (all the time) and so are cats so honestly I can't complain.
this is also on my Instagram....

I haven't had a ton of time for personal reading so I don't have any good book recommendations... although we've been studying the Holocaust in English and Anton the Dove Fancier (the book we read) was pretty good. I read Night last year though, and it's definitely my all-time favorite.

I would recommend this but I don't even remember what it's called
I got the Phantom of the Opera (2004 version with Gerard Butler) on DVD for Christmas and I may or may not have screamed- I was so excited. That musical is fantastic and I totally fangirl over it.
Speaking of Christmas- I hope yours was lovely. It took me forever to actually get in the Christmas spirit (once exams were over it was easier to celebrate haha) and I didn't listen to that much Christmas music, (I just stuck with my normal stuff ya know) but I must say Pentatonix totally killed it on their album- I mean for real, please check out their version of "Mary Did You Know" because wow.

^^^^ to prove I'm  not usually a fashionista (peep the sweatpants)
So.....we babysat this little girl for a few days. (Our neighbors were giving her to their kiddos for Christmas and she needed a place to stay before Christmas morning) Literally though guys she was softer than one of those fluffy blankets- it was almost unreal.

who knew Biology could be so artsy? (this is salt btw)

So yes, it's been a crazy year, but nonetheless a wonderful one. I can't wait for all of the adventures that await me in 2016 and hopefully I'll get back to posting more often. :P

And in conclusion (totally random) I love scented candles.

I hope you all have a fabulous New Year :)
